Jiophone Available For Rs 1,999, Will Hit The Market For Diwali

Developed by the country's leading telecom companies Jio and Google, Jiophone Next will hit the market for Diwali. 

Priced at Rs 6,499, the phone can be had as an EMI for Rs 1,999. The remaining amount can be paid in 18-24 monthly installments. The company also said that it will provide Jio-finance facilities for this.

The phone will be distributed through Geomart Digital's more than 3,000 retail stores. Jio has also announced that it will offer paperless digital financing options through these stores. With a 5.45 inch screen, Geophone runs on Next Progress OS. This is a customized version of Android. A multi-touch HD Plus screen is included. The back has a 13-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

With 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the handset also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 security with anti-fingerprint coating. Its internal storage can be expanded up to 512 GB. Geophone Next is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chip QM-215 (quad-core up to1.3GHz).

The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and 2 dual SIM nano slots with a 3,500 mAh battery. It also has a feature that makes it easy to access and use up to 10 languages. Jiophone Next claims to be able to capture great photos and videos in HDR mode in low light. It is said that it gives a wide range of colors and dynamic range to the images.

The India-themed Snapdragon lens integrates directly into Jiophone Next's camera app, Camera Go. This will give users a more enjoyable and innovative photography experience. Google Play Protect service is also available. This gives the phone Google world-class security and malware protection. Jiophone users will also have access to the millions of apps used and enjoyed by people around the world through the Google Play Store.
